New Peltier Motion
In May 1995, lawyers for Leonard Peltier filed an unprecedented legal
motion in the eighth circuit court of appeals in a direct request for the
re-opening of his appeal for a new trial on the grounds of a mistake that
has sat on record and uncorrected for the past ten years. A decision to re-
open the appeal will likely take several months.
