Training incarcerated writers to be journalists, so they can participate in the dialogue about criminal legal reform. Will publish your articles, essays, poems, art and cartoons that incorporate firsthand observations and/or experiences. Our word count is 500 - 1,200 words (ideally 1,000 words or less). No more than ONE STORY or THREE POEMS per submission. Write for full submission guidelines and writing prompts before submitting original work. Expect at least 12 weeks for response.
